The Leasing Manager is responsible for management of the daily operations of the leasing team and leasing function for the high rise property and is under direct supervision of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the leasing team is focused and highly productive in an effort to meet or exceed  leasing goals.
  • Responsible for weekly reporting and weekend update reporting.
  • Accountable for market surveys.
  • Oversees the leasing team, and manages sales goals on a daily basis. Assist in the development, supervision and direction of the outreach marketing program for the property to local business and institutions.
  • Tracks traffic, appointments, and leases daily.
  • Responsible for reviewing the leasing files to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversees the preparation of monthly market studies of comparable and/or competing properties.
  • Make recommendations with respect to the leasing/marketing operations of the property to the Community Manager and Area Vice President.
  • In addition to leasing management tasks, perform all the normal functions of a Leasing Consultant.
  • Assists residents with questions, maintenance requests, payment of rent or other requests on a daily basis.
  • Maintains a positive customer relations attitude.
  • Complies with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.
  • Completes all other projects or requests as directed by Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in leasing, marketing, and/or property management.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Must be reliable and follow through on commitments.  Must produce timely work to required- or higher-standards, and pitches in to get the job completed.
  • Must be attentive to detail and adhere to company standards.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Must have reliable transportation
